This module will provide knowledge on the essential indicators of distress and pain in zebrafish to allow you to recognize and assess the animal’s welfare since published studies have demonstrated that a variety of laboratory procedures cause distress and/or pain in zebrafish, e.g. netting, fin clipping, tagging, surgery, heart damage.
